From midnight tonight, WA Health Minister Roger Cook announce that interstate borders will be further tightened against Victoria.
This means that people who have been in Victoria for the last 14 days, those arrivals will be subjected to Covid-19 tests or face a $5,000 fine.
Currently, there are 15,007 people under quarantine, with numbers to grow over 2,000 people by the weekend.
WA Police Commissioner Chris Dawson state of emergency extended for 14 days until 23rd, July at 12AM.
Anyone coming from Victoria will either have to return or a stricter regime, including Victoria workers from agriculture and mining industry.
Meanwhile, freight and logistics will continue.
