Midland Hit & Run Incident Left A Young Woman With Serious Leg Injury

A woman has been charged after an alleged hit and run crash in Midland on the 26th, April, 2020.

It happened at around 6:30AM when a blue sedan travelling northbound on Fergurson Street allegedly mounted on to the curb, drove on to a footpath and hit a 20 year old woman.

The victim’s friend who walking alongside her witnessed the incident. She was sent to Royal Perth Hospital suffering a serious leg injury.

Police say the blue sedan was later located on a vacant block on Wellaton Street in Midland around 8pm on the same day.

Authorities have arrested a 20 year old Clarkson woman, who is known to the victim, and was charged “with intent to do grievous bodily harm does grievous bodily harm to another”.

She was refused bail and appeared in the Midland Magistrates Court today.
