One Injured After School Bus Crash In Bridgetown

A 14 year old male student has been injured a school bus crashed in Bridgetown this morning (20th, July, 2020).

Police received notification regarding the crash at around 8:30AM this morning, which happened near the intersection on Walter Road and Lefory Road.

Preliminary imformation suggests the school bus has hit a tree after entering the water filled ditch on the side of the road, as a result it slid sideways and hit a tree.

Around 30 passengers exited the bus following the crash, DFES and St Johns Ambulance attended the scene.

A 14 year old male passenger who have reportedly received a shoulder injury was taken to Bridgetown Hospital as a pre-cautionary measure. No other injuries were reported.
