One man is fighting for his life and another will face court after an alleged assault outside a tavern in Perth’s south-east on Thursday night.
A man is left fighting for his life after an alleged assault took place at the Lakers Tavern’s carpark in Thornlie on Thursday night.
It is alleged that as they were leaving the tavern just after 11pm, an argument broke out between two men. During the altercation, a 27-year old man allegedly punched a 34-year old man causing the him to fall and hit his head on the pavement. Police believe the two men know each other.
The victim was rushed to Perth Royal Hospital where it is said he is in a critical condition.
The 27-year old Thornlie man has been charged with Assault Occasioning Bodily Harm and will appear in the Armadale Magistrates Court on 20 December 2019.
