A collision between a semi-trailer and a Ford Falcon in Capel last night resulted in the truck rolling and one death.
Police say that the 55-year-old driver’s Falcon was driving on the wrong side of the Bussel Highway at 7:30 last night when it met a Volvo Semi-trailer travelling in the opposite direction.
The collision forced the truck off the road where it rolled, killing the driver of the truck, a man in his 70s.
The 55-year-old Marybrook man received only minor injuries and was taken to hospital.
He will be facing the Bunbury Magistrates Court today charged with one count of Dangerous dDriving Occasioning Death.
Detective from the Major Crash Investigations Unit are looking for information about the crash, and would like to speak to anyone who saw the Ford Falcon driving before the accident.
